If Jesus died and rose from the dead, doesn't that make him a zombie?
WOW!!
When I saw this statement on the bathroom wall I was shocked. How could something so obvious never be brought to my attention? Could it really be true? Could the Christian savior be nothing more than a zombie?
Q.--What really defines a zombie?
A.--According to “Dictionary.com” a zombie is;
1. A snake god of voodoo cults in West Africa, Haiti, and the southern United States.
*Contrary to the definition of a zombie, according to the Bible, Jesus was from
Jerusalem.
*Contrary to the definition of a zombie, according to Christians, Jesus was a man not
a snake.
2. A supernatural power or spell that according to voodoo belief can enter into and reanimate a corpse.
*This works with our zombie theory, according to the Bible, the supernatural power
of God brought
back to life.
3. A tall mixed drink made of various rums, liqueur, and fruit juice.
Contrary to the definition of a zombie, Jesus was a man, not a mixed drink.
MY CONCLUSION
(I am assuming it was written by a man because it was a men’s room)
Now that I have done my research, I am prepared to bust this myth. Unfortunately, I am not sure if Jesus was a zombie or not. The man who wrote the statement deserves an answer and this is the best I can do. Jesus wasn’t a voodoo snake god, and he wasn’t a mixed drink (although he could probably turn water into one). Still, I can’t ignore the fact that he was brought back from the dead by a supernatural power.
I guess we will never know if Jesus was a zombie, and if we did we probably wouldn’t believe it anyway.
